Hi there! This is my personal page where I list mostly information regarding my work as a Ph.D. candidate. My position is at the University of Twente, The Netherlands, in the field of network security. More precisely, my work targets flow-based intrusion detection with specific emphasis on the detection of compromises in encrypted IP-communications. My main topics of interest are flow monitoring (by means of NetFlow and IPFIX), network security in general, and network data visualization.
As of October 2014, I’m also a freelance network security specialist. For example, I work as a Flow Export & Analysis Expert on the Malware Threat Defender, developed by RedSocks B.V. This appliance performs flow-based analysis of network traffic, specifically targeted at malware infections.
The best way of contacting me is by means of the e-mail address provided at the bottom of the page, or via LinkedIn.
